This is a Gansu - version silver coin of Yuan Datou from the third year of the Republic of China. In the center of the obverse side is the profile portrait of Yuan Shikai, surrounded by the words "The Third Year of the Republic of China" at the top, with the characters "甘肃 (Gansu)" engraved on the left and right sides. This version of the silver coin was minted by the Gansu Mint in 1914 (the third year of the Republic of China) based on the Yuan Shikai - image silver coins. It has a relatively low silver content and the craftsmanship is a bit rougher. However, due to its limited mintage and surviving quantity, it has a high collection value among the Yuan Datou series of silver coins and is highly regarded by collectors.
